My Little Robin Hood

Chapter 1

Long ago, good Princess Cadence of Canterlot departed for the holy land on a great crusade. During her absence, Princess Rarity, her greedy and treacherous sister, usurped the crown. Rainbow Blitz was the pony's only hope. He robbed from the rich to feed the poor. He was beloved by all the ponies of Equestria. Rainbow Blitz and his merry pony named Bubble Berry hid in the Everfree Forest to elude the Sheriff Applejack of Ponyville. Rainbow Blitz and Bubble Berry were trotting along happily through the Everfree Forest without a care in the world. When they were walking on the dead tree that serves as a bridge, they bumped into each other, fell into the water, and started playing in it.

Little did they know they were being watched by Sheriff Applejack and her diamond dog guards. She grinned sinisterly as she waved her hoof to give the signal to strike. They prepared their weapons, but Rainbow Blitz & Bubble Berry then became aware of their presence and quickly jumped out of the water, and took off running. They ran to get away from Sheriff Applejack and her diamond dog guards. Rainbow Blitz then picked-up Bubble Berry, and flew into the tree. The Sheriff and the diamond dogs looked for him but they couldn't find him, so they decided to fall back.

"You know somethin', Rainbow Blitz?" Bubble Berry asked. "You're taking too many chances." Rainbow Blitz just scoffed and said "Chances? You must be joking! That was just a bit of a lark, Bubble Berry." "Yeah?" Bubble Berry asked. "Take a look at your tail. That's not a candle on a cupcake." Rainbow Blitz looked behind him to find one of the arrows that the diamond dogs were shooting while they were chasing the outlaw ponies in his tail near his cutie mark. "Hello, this one almost had my name on it didn't it?" He asked as he pulled the arrow out of his tail. "They're getting better, you know. You've got to admit it, they are getting better." "Uh, yeah. The next time, that sheriff Applejack gal will probably have a rope around our necks." Bubble Berry said as he put two hooves together to make it look like he was hanging on a rope around his neck. "ACK! Pretty hard to laugh hanging there, Blitzy."

Rainbow Blitz laughed and said "The sheriff and her posse couldn't even lift you off the ground." "En garde!" He said as he threw the arrow that stuck his tail at Bubble Berry who quickly ducked. "Hey watch it, Rainbow! That's the only mane I've got!" Bubble Berry said. "Oh, come along. You worry too much, brony." "You know somethin' Rainbow Blitz?" Bubble Berry asked. "I was just thinking. Are we good ponies or bad ponies? You know, I mean, our robbing the rich to feed the poor and all." "Rob?" Rainbow Blitz asked as he tsked. "That's a naughty word. We never rob. We just sort of borrow a bit from those who can afford it." "Borrow?" Bubble Berry asked. "Boy, are we in debt."

Then, they suddenly heard a fanfare from a distance. Rainbow Blitz flew to the top of the tree, and listened to the sound. He chuckled and said "That sounds like another collection day for the poor, eh, Bubble Berry?" Bubble Berry smiled and said "Yeah! Sweet charity!"
