My Little Frozen Chapter 4

Chapter 4

In the Canterlot Church, everypony took their seats in the large room where Twilight Sparkle was being crowned. Sunset Shimmer stood beside her and waited patiently for this to be over so that she can join the party. She took a glance and saw Prince Blueblood waving at her. She waved back and continued to watch. The unicorn bishop named Top Notch held the gold crown with ruby gems on it with his magic. Twilight Sparkle bowed as Top Notch placed the crown on her head, and held the purple pillow where the golden sphere and scepter is on. Before Twilight Sparkle could hold the items, Top Notch cleared his throat to get her attention. Twilight Sparkle looked up at the unicorn bishop who said "Your majesty. The gloves." Twilight Sparkle's face paled in fear because she had to take off her gloves. She began to remove her gloves slowly, and placed it on the pillow.

Twlight Sparkle could feel her heart pounding very hard against her chest and her hooves shaking, but she breathed slowly. She picked them up and held them the same way her father, Prince Solaris did when he was crowned as prince. She turned to face the other ponies as Top Notch spoke in another language while he used his magic to turn Twilight Sparkle into an alicorn. The ponies stood up as they witnessed the unicorn bishop's magic. Twilight Sparkle looked down and saw the frost going to spread on the items. She slightly paniced and held her breath to keep her emotions in check. "Princess Twilight Sparkle of Canterlot." Top Notch said as his magic finished its job, and Twilight Sparkle quickly placed the items back on the pillow, and put her gloves back on. "Princess Twilight Sparkle of Canterlot!" The ponies said at the same time as they applauded to their new princess. Twilight Sparkle sighed in relief knowing that the ponies didn't pay any attention to her hooves and the frost spreading. It wouldn't be too bad for the party, or so she had hoped.

Later that night in the throne room, springy music filled the throne room, and ponies were dancing, eating, laughing, and talking. The music then stopped as the trumpets sounded and Twlight Sparkle entered, poised and suprisingly content. She stood under a formal awning as the ponies bowed to her. "Princess Twilight Sparkle of Canterlot." Flash Sentry said. "Princess Sunset Shimmer of Canterlot." Then Sunset Shimmer ran into the room, and waved awkwardly. Flash Sentry cleared his throat and ushered her over to stand right next to Twilight Sparkle. "Here? Are you sure?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "Cause I don't think I'm supposed to-." She didn't finish her sentence when she found herself standing next to her sister. "Ok." Sunset Shimmer muttered as the trumpets stopped playing, ponies applauding the royal sisters, and went back to enjoying the celebration.

Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle snuck awkward peeks at each other. Then Twilight Sparkle looked at Sunset Shimmer, and said "Hi." Suprised, Sunset Shimmer looked at Twilight Sparkle, and said "H-Hi me? Oh. Um. Hi." "You look beautiful." Twilight Sparkle said. "Thank you." Sunset Shimmer said. "You look beautifuller. I mean, not fuller. You don't look fuller, but more beautiful." Twilight Sparkle chuckled and said "Thank you." The sisters looked at the ponies enjoying the party as Twilight Sparkle said "So, this is what a party looks like?" "It's warmer than I thought." Sunset Shimmer said. "And what is that amazing smell?" Twilight Sparkle asked. The sisters both closed their eyes, and sniffed the air. "Chocolate!" Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle said at the same time as they giggled.

"Your majesty." Flash Sentry said getting Twilight Sparkle's attention. "Cranky Doodle Donkey, The Duke of Trollingham." "Trottingham!" Cranky Doodle said sharply to Flash Sentry before adressing to Twilight Sparkle. "Cranky Doodle Donkey, The Duke of Trottingham." Cranky Doodle said. "Your majesty, as your closest partner in trade, it seems only fitting that I offer you your first dance as ruler of Equestria." Cranky Doodle bowed not realizing that his wig almost fell off. Sunset Shimmer giggled, and Twilight Sparkle stifled a giggle herself before she cleared her throat, and said "Thank you. Only I don't dance." "Oh..." Cranky Doodle said feeling a little offended. "But my sister does." Twilight Sparkle said. "What?" Sunset Shimmer said feeling confused. Cranky Doodle grabbed Twilight Sparkle's sister and said "Lucky you."

Before Sunset Shimmer had a chance to protest, Cranky Doodle dragged her away as he said "If you swoon, let me know, I'll catch you." Sunset Shimmer looked at Twilight Sparkle who just said "Sorry." "Like an agile peacock...cluck-cluggle-cluck!" Cranky Doodle said as he showboated, but he was just terrible. He stepped on Sunset Shimmer's hooves as she said "Ow. Ow." "Speaking of, so great to have the gates open." Cranky Doodle said. "Why did they shut them in the first place? Do you know the reason? Hmm?" "No." Sunset Shimmer said wondering why the duke was suspicous about something. "Oh, all right." Cranky Doodle said. "Hang on. They don't call me the little dipper for nothing."

Cranky Doodle dipped Sunset Shimmer who groaned in pain. Twilight Sparkle looked at the dancers while trying to hold in her laughter. Sunset Shimmer shot a look that said 'HELP ME!' at her sister. Cranky Doodle's groove was fully on as he said "Like a chicken...with the face of a monkey...I fly." The music ended as Sunset Shimmer limped back to her sister. "Let me know when you're ready for another round, my mare!" Cranky Doodle called out. "Well, he was sprightly." Twilight Sparkle said. "Especially for a donkey in heels." Sunset Shimmer said while rubbing her sore hooves. "Are you okay?" Twilight Sparkle asked. Sunset Shimmer smiled and said "I've never been better. This is so nice. I wish it could be like this all the time." "Me too." Twilight Sparkle said with a smile. But then she stiffened up when she caught herself. She looked away, and said "But it can't."

"Why not?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "If-." Twilight Sparkle just turned further away from her sister, and said "It JUST can't." Trying not to get emotional, Sunset Shimmer frowned and said "Excuse me for a minute." Sunset Shimmer then walked away while the saddened Twilight Sparkle just watched her leave. Sunset Shimmer sniffled as she moved through the crowd. Then she got bumped by a bowing pony's flank, and she fell. But before she hit the floor, Prince Blueblood caught her, and smiled. "Glad I caught you." Prince Blueblood said. Sunset Shimmer smiled and said "Prince Blueblood." Prince Blueblood then set his drink down on a passing tray, lifted Sunset Shimmer up, and lead her in a romantic dance.

Later on, Prince Blueblood and Sunset Shimmer talked about their lives. "I often had the whole parlor to myself to slide." Sunset Shimmer said before she accidently hit Prince Blueblood with her hoof. "Oops. Sorry." Prince Blueblood just smiled and laughed. Later, they strolled out of the castle. "Your physique helps I'm sure." Sunset Shimmer said. In the rose garden, Prince Blueblood and Sunset Shimmer playfully bumped into each other. "What's this?" Prince Blueblood asked talking about the white streak in Sunset Shimmer mane. "I was born with it." Sunset Shimmer said. "Although, I dreamt I was kissed by a chaos pony." "I like it." Prince Blueblood said smiling.

On the balcony, Sunset Shimmer was teaching how to eat krumkake. "Yeah, the whole thing!" Sunset Shimmer said as Prince Blueblood ate the whole thing. "You got it." They laughed as the krumkake crumbled in Prince Blueblood's face. "Okay wait, wait." Sunset Shimmer said. "So you have how many brothers?" Twelve older brothers." Prince Blueblood said. "Three of them pretended I was invisible...literally...for two years." "That's horrible." Sunset Shimmer said. "It's what brothers do." Prince Blueblood said. "And sisters." Sunset Shimmer said. "Twilight and I were close when we were little. But then, one day she just shut me out, and I never knew why." Prince Blueblood held on to Sunset Shimmer's hoof, and said "I would never shut you out." Sunset Shimmer looked up at him and smiled.

Later, they explored one of the castle towers, slid down a empty hallway, and hid before one of the servants spotted them. Then they climbed on the castle roof, and watched a shooting star. Later they walked on a bridge, and danced on top of the lighthouse as the light casted dancing shadows across the sails of ships in the docks. Then they played hide and seek amongst the stable doors, and climbed to the waterfall looking out over Canterlot. They both formed a heart with their hooves, confirming that it was true love, because they have so much in common. "Hey, can I say something crazy?" Prince Blueblood asked. Sunset Shimmer giggled and nodded. Prince Blueblood knelt down and said "Will you marry me?" Sunset Shimmer gasped, smiled, and said "Can I say something even crazier?" Prince Blueblood smiled and nodded. "YES!" Sunset Shimmer shouted with joy.
