My Little Brave Chapter 1

Chapter 1

-Many years later-

Rainbow Dash grew into a beautiful mare who got her cutie mark, and the story of how her father Big Mac lost his tail to the demon bear Discord became a legend. Rainbow Dash became a sister with three new sisters who are princesses. The first filly was pale, light grayish olive coated with a brilliant amaranth mane, brilliant gamboge eyes, light brilliant crimson bow in her mane, and no cutie mark was named Apple Bloom. The second filly was light grey coated with a grayish mulberry mane with pale light grayish rose streaks on it, pale light grayish harlequin eyes, and no cutie mark was named Sweetie Belle. The third, and final filly was light brilliant gamboge coated with a moderate cerise mane, grayish purple eyes, and no cutie mark was named Scootaloo. These three fillies always get into mischief while trying to get their cutie marks, and getting Rainbow Dash into trouble. Rainbow Dash is the princess. She's the example. She's got duties, responaibilities, and expectations. Her whole life is planned out, for the day she becomes her mother Rarity. She's in charge of every single day of Rainbow Dash's life and she hated that.

In the throne room, Rainbow Dash was reciting a traditional english song. "A robyn, jolly robyn, and thou shalt knowe of myn." Rainbow Dash said. "More change!" Rarity said irritating Rainbow Dash who said "And thou shalt knowe of myn..." Rarity stopped her, and said "Pronunciation must be understood from anywhere, Rainbow Dash, or it's all for naught..." "This is all for naught." Rainbow Dash muttered. Rarity glared, and said "I said that! From the jaw..." Later, Rarity was teaching geography as she said "A princess must be knowledgable about her kingdom." When she saw Rainbow Dash drawing something on a piece of paper, she snatched it from her, and looked at it. It was a picture of Rarity holding the paper with the same drawing. She looked at Rainbow Dash, and said "She doesn't make doodles." Later in the throne room, Rarity and Rainbow Dash were playing lyres. When Rainbow Dash got a note wrong, Rarity said "That's C dear." Rainbow Dash groaned in annoyance. Later outside in their backyard. Rainbow Dash was holding a black and blue falcon with Big Mac watching her. The falcon suddenly attacked Big Mac, and as he tried to fend it off, Rainbow Dash laughed.

"Princesses don't chortle." Rarity called out from her purple tent. Rainbow Dash just sighed as she hoofpalmed herself. Later that night, it was dinnertime in the dining hall, and Rainbow Dash tried to stuff salad into her mouth, but Rarity stopped her, and said "Doesn't stuff her gob!" Rainbow Dash sighed feeling irritated. The next morning, Rarity woke Rainbow Dash up, and said "Rises early!" Rainbow Dash groaned as she woke up. In the kitchen, Rainbow Dash looked Rarity who said "Is compassionate." In the dining hall, as Rainbow Dash waited for her meal, Rarity said. "Patient." Later, as Rainbow Dash was lighting the candles, Rairty panicked and said "Cautious!" Later in a bright room, Rarity looked at Rainbow Dash who was covered in dirt, and said "Clean." Later, Rarity and Rainbow Dash were in the throne room with Big Mac. "And above all, a princess strives for, well, perfection." Rarity said as she left the throne room with Big Mac. Rainbow Dash just rolled her eyes, and hoofpalmed herself.

But every once in a while, there's a day when Rainbow Dash doesn't have to be a princess. No lessons, no expectations. A day when anything can happen. A day Rainbow Dash can change her fate. One day, Rainbow Dash woke up with a smile on her face, and she got out of her bed, took her bow and arrows, ran downstairs past the servants, and the soldiers to her carriage pulled by her friend named Derpy Hoof. "Let's go Derpy!" Rainbow Dash said smiling. "Okay!" Derpy said as she startng pulling the carriage, and running. They took off into the Everfree Forest, and Rainbow Dash shot many targets, and she never missed because she got better at shooting over the years. They eventually reached a meadow near a cliff where she carved the symbol of Canterlot into her bow with a little wood carver. She flew to the waterfall, and drank the water falling down. She then flew into the sky and performed her sonic rainboom.
